Terms and Conditions of Promotion

HOW DOES THIS PROMOTION WORK?

1. Spend $30 or more in one transaction on NERF branded product at any The Warehouse during the promotional period and go into the draw to win 1 of 10 One Thousand Dollar ($1,000) cash prizes, as further described below.

2. The total prize pool is valued at $10,000 NZD.

3. The total number of competition winners in this competition is 10.

4. The promotional period begins at 12.01am on Wednesday, 17th September 2025 and finishes at 11.59pm on Tuesday, 30th September 2025.

5. If you make a qualifying purchase either instore or online, complete the online Competition Entry Form by entering your details and uploading a photo of your receipt or order number. The Online Competition Entry form can be located at www.nerfwin.co.nz

6. Online entries will close at 11.59pm on Tuesday, 30th September (entry deadline). 

7. A maximum of 4 unique entries per eligible person to the total prize draw will be accepted, however entrants are eligible only to win a maximum of 1 prize valued at $1,000.

 

DRAW INFORMATION

1. After the Entry Period has closed (entry deadline), 10 entrants from the valid entries will be selected by automated random draw (the “Draw”).

2. 10 winners will be contacted by the phone number and or email address provided at the time of entry. 

3. Contact of the winners will be attempted for 5 consecutive business days after the Draw date and if winners have not responded by the end of the fifth day, the Prize will be redrawn on the same terms stated herein.

4. The Prize will be a cash amount of $1,000 that will be delivered to a winner paid in cash, by bank transfer.

5. Payment of the Prize is subject to the winner providing personal identification and/or proof of address or other relevant details and to internal compliance checks. The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged. Payment of the Prize may take up to 28 business days from the point at which Hasbro receives the winners’ correct details.

6. Where it emerges after the Prize has been awarded but prior to delivery of that prize, that the entrant was in breach of these terms and conditions, Hasbro reserves the right to withdraw the Prize from that winner and they will not be entitled to any further reward or remuneration.

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

1. Hasbro Limited and The Warehouse Limited reserve the absolute right to refuse entry to the prize draw on claims that they determine are not legitimate or in the spirit of the promotion.  This includes, but is not limited to, claims where:

   1. The Warehouse receipt/order number is deemed not to be a genuine original; or

   2. The person named on the Competition Entry Form has not legitimately made the minimum required purchase of $30 or more in one transaction on NERF branded products from The Warehouse; or

   3. The person named on the Competition Entry Form is not the person who has made the purchase; or

   4. The purchase is not made within the promotional period; or

   5. The online Competition Entry Form is not completed before the entry deadline.

2. The Warehouse and any other agencies associated with this promotion will not be responsible for any late, lost or misdirected entries, including but not limited to entries not received due to technical problems and is not liable for any failure (for whatever reason) to record an entry into the competition

3. This promotion is open to all New Zealand residents aged 18 or over and includes employees of The Warehouse Limited and Hasbro Limited.

4. Entry into this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and Hasbro and The Warehouse’s Privacy Policies.

5. Neither The Warehouse Limited nor Hasbro Limited will be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that may be sustained, directly or indirectly, or for any personal injury suffered or sustained by any entrant in connection with any product purchased or consumed for this promotion, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

6. By accepting any prize, the winner consents to the Promoter and/or its affiliates and agencies using the winner's details, photographs and other material for reasonable promotional purposes including but not limited to in store notices, posters, emails, online marketing activity and press.

7. Entrant’s name, address and other contact details will be supplied to The Warehouse Limited and Hasbro Limited to enable entry to the draw and entrants to be contacted and these details will be kept and held securely until the completion of the next running of the same promotion or 8 months later, whichever comes first, in order that prizes can be sent to the prize winner(s), so that rules can be verified to have been complied with and for accounting purposes. The Warehouse and Hasbro may only pass prize winner(s) details on to third parties or sponsors for the purpose of delivering the prize.

8.  Prize-winners are advised that tax implications may arise from their prize winnings and they should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance of that prize.

9. The Promoter is Hasbro Limited.

10. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
